Welcome to Wholistic Kitchen! My name is Sara and I started this website to share my love of creating healthy recipes to share with my friends and family. After years of struggling with different issues, I took a good look at what I was eating and decided to make some changes. But just because I have some dietary restrictions doesn’t mean my family should too. They may need things in their diet that I do not. I began by making a couple different meals until I realized that I could cater many meals to meet all of our dietary needs and tastes.
I am a certified Recreation Therapist and have worked in different aspects of Mental Health for years. I have seen first hand that holistic treatment including better food choices, reducing toxins, finding positive coping skills and improving leisure activities can lead to overall wellness.
I include whole food recipes that can be catered to many dietary needs including paleo, gluten/dairy/sugar free, clean eating and whole grain.
